This is not my first quit but it certainly is my longest.  While I have been fortunate health wise.  I was afraid of every doctors appointment and blood test because of smoking.  I know I am not out of the woods yet I am on my way to be healthier than I have been in years.  With all the resources that are available there is no reason not to quit.  My plan for staying smoke free is the same as it has been since I quit.  One Day at a time I will continue to visit this site to get support and to over support and I will continue to attend the quit smoking group though I dont go as often.

I can't  deny that it feels strange to me advocating for smokers to quit for their health and well being. I was a staunch smoker and for 47 years I defended my right.
However, my fear of what my life held if I continued made me reevaluate my choice to smoke . I feel so much better now, granted I have my days where I struggle but do my utmost to keep my promise to myself that I would now be a non- smoker. 
 I encourage those who are considering to stop smoking do so as a way to love yourself enough to finally quit. Your worth it and deserve all it's benefits.

September days are here, mornings and nights are sometimes cold and misty and in many ways, this time of the year seems a lot busier for most people: children go back to school, there’s still a lot of work left from summer’s days, it’s the harvest time where crops are everywhere and a lot of people are making plan to quit smoking. September is also known to be one of the highest month for quit attempts next to January. There are certainly a lot of reasons for that. What are your thoughts? How do you plan to stay smoke-free for September?
