Hi Sisu,

I'm so glad to hear that you were able to stay strong and resist the urge to smoke.  You have worked really hard to make it to 3 weeks.  The last thing you want to do is to have to go through it all over again.   You will find that the nicodemon will sneak up on you when you least expect it.  But the more you resist, the easier it gets to just say no.

Congratulations on your 3 weeks, and here's to many more!!!

Good Evening Sisu,

Awesome job making it through this morning! Congratulations -we all know how hard you had to work to beat back those urges to go out and buy a pack of cigarettes!

So glad you came by and shared this experience with us - who knows who else you have inspired to stick with it!

Thanks Smobered Up!  The nicodemon eh!  Don't want to see his ugly face again, although chances are I will.  Time to put on my armor so that nasty devil will have the fight of his life if he shows up again!  I don't want to give up my nicotine free days.

Thanks for your words of wisdom.  They are an encouragement.

Hey Sisu.......

BOOYAH!

You just won your first skirmish with nicodemon.   You are now more experienced to handle the next ambush.  Be assured that you will get better as he gets weaker.
By the way................Congrats on 3 weeks.  The early days are the toughest so pat yourself on the back and go treat yourself to something nice.

I'm on my 21st day!  This morning I had one foot out the door so close to making my way to the corner store to get a pack of cigarettes!  It was scary.  My rational mind was crying - no don't do it - you're already on your way to becoming a non-smoker - WOW three weeks!  My addiction was reeking havoc with my mind telling me after one pack I would be able to stop again.  Not likely!  I sure don't want to go through that again.  I followed through with my plans for the day and lo and behold I didn't smoke!

Just needed to reach out and share this difficult day.  I'm thankful that tomorrow is a new day with a new beginning.
