Good to hear from you fireball. Congratulations on being smoke free for 323 days. That is awesome, as is losing 10 pounds!

As fireball said, let's all keep the quit.

Hi fireball,

Sorry to hear that the summer was so difficult for you but you're right, the colder weather is now upon us.  And you lost 10 lbs.  Way to go!  And you are eating healthier.  It is a win-win situation.  That is what I am trying to do, eat healthier, move more and lose some weight.  That's one thing I have found since I quit smoking.  I started to care about my health for the first time in years.  So that can only be a good thing.

You and I are at about the same stage.  Before we know it, we will hit our one year mark.  Can't wait!

Well it has been a heck of a ride. Summer was a huge struggle for me. Glad to say it is over and winter is on its way. When I’m out for my walks I like to hear only the crunching of snow under my boots. Most people are huddled inside especially with darkness falling by 5 pm. It makes staying smoke free so much easier. I have managed to walk around 65 km per week but having to back off on that recently because of an injured foot. At least I was able to loose 10 lbs I’ve the last couple of months. Trying to eat much more fruits and vegetables. Off for update at Dr this week so hope all is well. Stay smoke- free my friends!
