Thanks everyone. I know everything I'm going through right now will get better, it's just a matter of time, and hanging in.  I've done this before, I know it only lasts a week or two, I don't remember feeling quite this cruddy though!

Hang In There Bah75. Just think of a tougher situation that you could be in and feel thankful. It seems to work for me.

It will get easier.

Hi Bah75,

You will go through a lot of weird stuff on this journey.  But all of it is normal.  Quitting isn't easy, and our bodies and minds rebel against us.  They say, Give it to me, and we say, No.  And they have to get used to that.

Hang in there, drink your water, and distract yourself.  Just take it one step at a time.  You can do this, believe in yourself.

Smoke-Free Days: 328

First day is always a tough one. Of course there are other days in the quit that go bad too. Yesterday was one of those days for me. But you get through it. Just take it one day at a time, one minute at a time. And remember, you aren't the only one who has these days. We all deal with them at sometime or another.
