Welcome Samjul. It sounds like both you and hubby have a tremendous initiative to become smoke free. As Marianne suggests, sharing on SHO is encouraging and helpful and using NRT's in many cases increases your chances of success. The quitting process will be unique for each of you and hopefully you both have strong plans and support in place even if they are somewhat different. We each have different addiction levels and will respond differently to the many cessation aids available. All the best to you both!! Keep us posted. Rosebud

Hello Samjul,

Welcome to our online community, so nice to have you with us!

Sounds like you have been doing a lot of work tapering down.  Have you or have you thought of using nicotine replacement?

Great that your listening to the skills of others, they have much to offer with their experiences.  Feel free to share they times and moments when you crave to smoke and we can help with distractions.

Looking forward to hearing more of your journey.

All the best,

Marianne
