Wow...good for you Kevinski. I like how you took the time to make sure to avoid your triggers such as staying away from alcohol.  I also like how you were able to lose weight....oh my goodness. I wish I could have stayed at my weight...but oh no...had to gain more....I like your determination.  You are inspiring me to do something now about my weight.  Thanks

By the way, you should come on out to club....no alcohol there and we are all non smokers.  Tonight is Karaoke night.  Should be fun!

Way to go on your quit!  I feel your determination and commitment to this, in your post.

I am on my 19th day as a non-smoker and it's all good. I started smoking when I was 30 yrs old. I was a smoker for 12 yrs. I started smoking because the women I was dating smoked. Since then every women I've dated was a smoker, this includes my ex-wife. I know that I could never be with a smoker, and that's a good thing. I haven't had any alcohol since I started my quit. As, this was a big trigger. The stress in my life is low, mostly in part to being un-employed. Although, I miss my job, the reduced stress in my life has been a bonus as it has helped me to stay quit. I've lost 7 lbs since my quit. This is mostly in part to my resolve to not eat un-healthy foods as I do crave junk food, alot. I have pretty much keep to myself for the last 19 days to avoid situations that trigger. I know I am rambling, it's a bad habit. I am a non-smoker, I will be for the rest of my life. I know if I smoke one I will be done. It feels good to be smoke free , I feel good. Thanks to all your advice and support, SHO members and moderators. One day at a time, that's how I live. Stay strong, live long.
