Best idea?

Check with the pharmacist and your doctor.

They are aware of your past medical history and your body make-up!

Well only an expert on how Champix affects me !!!   I never had the vivid dreams at all but I did dream way more than I used to and the one thing that changed about the dreams was I could remember them completely !   That's gone away now though, can't remember them anymore lol.

I experienced the vivid dreams too, the one time I had tried Champix so I am certain it's more common then not to have them. Violet is the Champix expert here (and the sleep expert too:) and I would guess that if she had the dreams, then altering the time for the last pill eliminated the dreams, it will most likely help you as well. I agree with Violet as well, about talking to the pharmacist about this. They are more up to date and informed on the drugs they dispense and the side effects then anyone else.  Most of them deal with smoking cessation on a daily basis AND you don't need an appointment a week in advance:)  I've had a lot of help and support from my local pharmacist during my quit.

You will probably have dreams off and on until you stop taking champix.  The fact that you are quitting smoking will also bring on dreams.  Congrats on quitting...keep it up.

Probably best to check in with your pharmacist. They are quit specialists and can give you the best advice. I know mine told me to let her know right away if I had any problems at all.  That's the thing with the pharmacist you can usually walk right in at any time with a question while it's not so easy with your doctor.

I've never had that problem but I take my second pill at around 5pm.  The pharmacist said that some others that had trouble with the dreams were taking the pills right before bed.  What time do you take the second pill ?

Sooo I have been taking champix for approx a month n a half. Over the past week I have had the most vivid, lifelike nightmares. I don't realize it was a dream until I fully wake up.Its wonderful to be sleeping all thru the night mist nights now but I am curious if these nightmares stop soon or if ill have to tough them out till the end of my prescription? Anyone else experience the same with champix?
